Aftermath: SEB Afterwork

Our first event of the year is finally over. We got to enjoy it in the best company and we are still overly excited about the feedback we got from the members of our society.

We started the evening by a welcoming speech from WCS as well as from SEB. After the speeches we sat to the table and started to prepare vegetarian spring rolls and mingling with our tablemates.

It was really interesting to get a broader picture of SEB overall, and interesting to hear how they work with sustainability. One of my favorites was that we had the opportunity to ask relevant questions from the SEB employees, and really get a realistic picture of the work they do!

During the evening we got to hear a great presentation from Anssi Kiviniemi, The Head Of Sustainability at SEB. We learned more about sustainability from a banking side of view and banks’ role in creating a more sustainable future as well as about SEB as a company. Later in the evening we also had the chance to mingle with the SEB Interns as well as other company representatives.

We would like to thank SEB for collaborating with us, as well as the participants for making the evening great!
