Aftermath: Brunch and Private Equity
In April we hosted a refreshing brunch event with some of the top Private Equity firms at the newly renovated Story Hakaniemi. We had the chance to learn more what Private Equity and Venture Capital investing really is, with our amazing guest speakers from Maki.vc, Saari Partners and Verdane.
From Maki.vc our speaker for the morning was Josefiina Kotilainen, from Saari Partners we got to meet Mia Sirkiä and from Verdane both Anni Tuulos and Emilia Lassas.
During the morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast freshly from Story’s kitchen. The location was amazing, and the space was filled with spring’s first sights of sun.

First our guest speakers introduced themselves with their career stories and company introductions. After that was time for the panel discussion with questions from our event participants.
Our themes for the morning were focused on our speaker’s career and personal experience as well as the daily life of an investor. We also heard some venture capital specific tips from Josefiina.
After the panel discussion was time to mingle and chat with our quest speakers and other participants. We were thrilled to see so many participants joining to WCS event for the first time and participants from all different majors. Everyone also got a little goodie bag which you can see in the pictures. It was a great chance to meet new interesting people. We hope to see you all soon again!
